Cort Bass

I know Cort makes some good basses now, but I have one from about 7 years ago. It sounds great but the input jack is broken. Can anyone tell me if its woth it to fix it? About how much do you think its worth? (some cosmetic problems)

The Cort basses from 7 years ago aren't any worse than the ones they make now. Cort is just like any other company, if you buy the cheapest thing they make, you will have a cheap bass.
As far as the jack goes, the jack itself is less than $10 (way less) and having someone put it in for you shouldn't cost another $20. (only because of minimum charges) In fact, if you take the bass in to get it set up, they might fix the jack for free.

Cor-Tek ("Cort") has made some extraordinarily fine instruments for various companies. They currently make some excellent Fenders and have made FMIC proprietaries like DeArmond, which were often superb.

Replacing a jack is a minor fix and the bass is very probably worth it.

I can replace the jack myself (ive done it several times on other guitars). My question was is it worth it to do other repair jobs on it?

Do you like the bass? Does it play well? Does it give you the sound that you want? The real value of the bass is how much you like it.
