I am trying to figure out how to export my songs from the recorder to the computer. I can't make any sense out of what the manual tells you to do.......I guess I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this recording technology. Can someone

I'm not sure whether you want to copy individual tracks or completed songs but the process is basically the same.

First you need to copy the song or track to the DP01 disk export partition.

-select Menu- Wave, select whether you want to copy tracks or mastered songs

-after you have made your selections press Enter and the data is copied to the DP01 export partition.

At this point you need to connect the DP01 to the PC using a USB cable

Then press Menu - Disk - USB

A screen should appear on your PC showing the contents of the DP01 Export partition. Now you you can navigate from the PC.

From that screen, open the Wave folder and just copy the song or track files to your PC hard drive like you would with any file on your PC.

When everything is copied, use the USB icon in your PC tray to disconnect the USB drive from the PC

Then from the DP01 press Exit

That should do it

Good luck
Erich

Thank you so much. That makes it sound much simpler. I will give it a try and let you know what happens. I really appreciate you taking the time to help.
