Plugin Order
I was just wondering what order does the experienced mixing engineers add your plugin's meaning like "extra compression, reverb, things like that what order do u add them."

Usually depends on what i'm mixing at the time but i am by no means an "experienced" person.

I almost always have preferred the sound I get with this order: EQ, multiband compression (occasionally), reverb, limiting, dither. I'm thinking final stereo file processing here, as that's all I use plugins for.

I go EQ, compression, reverb, delay, limiting.
Sometimes use Compression before EQ, havent really payed much attention to the differing outcome though. I suppose i should really. |
