Tascam 388 monitor help
My buddy and I just recently purchased a 388 off ebay. I finally have time to go over the manual this weekend and I can't figure out how to get the monitor playback function to work. There is absolutley NO monitor volume.
HELP!

For other interested parties:...
The 388's Monitor section will automatically MUTE, any time the (white) PGM-ASSIGN button is pressed simultaneously as the (red) L/R-ASSIGN button, on any channel.
This is an inherent design feature to prevent an internal feedback loop, which is undesirable. Also, as an aside, the STEREO button above/right of the headphone volume control must be pressed, to monitor any signal in the phones.
