no sound from emu-0404 through cubase sx

hi guys.. goy soundcard Emu 0404 and cubase sx. can record onto the comp (including hearing my guitar.. hardly any latency)but there is no playback(sound ) when i hit playback. soundcard working fine as fruityloops3 and dvd player have no problems.

help...........

If you're running windows, click on the speaker in the lower right toolbar and then goto options/properties and select what you need for playback. That's also where you select your recording options. Grats on the card and welcome to the BBS.

also make sure you have your vst in selected in cubase and the vst out. Usually for the main out is set to 31/32. its one of your options. i think its the one called window at the top of your screen.

Did you activate a strip in the Patchmix DSP for your output?
