01V With Cubase 5.1 V32

I am pretty new to digital recording. I have a lot of FOH exp. I am building a small home studio. I am running an ASUS P4P800 mobo, 2.6G, 512M, CuBase 5.1r1. Can anyone tell me if the 01v, is a viable desk for this setup? I am familiar with all of the "specs" of the 01v, but am really new to midi, and its applications. I have a Korg M1R, and a Roland keyboard that I am using strickly as a controller. A bunch of outboard gear that I won't mention at this time. I like Cubase, but don't know the compatability issues. Any help in this area is already appreciated!

Thanks
David

01v

The 01v works very well with Cubase 5.1 VST!!!1 I used the combo for years in my project studio. 01v gives you virtual control over levels, fx, panning, and eqs in Cubase. It also works with the DSP factory card [old card that adds dsp channels for power]. You may find one cheap on ebay or something. Hope this helps.

I was seriously thinking of getting one to replace my mackie 1604 vlz pro and to use as an digital control surface. Those ov1's go for so cheap, and I believe the a&d convertors are pretty damn good for what they are.
