lost cakewalk plug-in

I had a plug-in that I was using called cakewalk fx2 amp sim lite. i really liked the way it made my guitars sound. I was using it with cubase. I never had cakewalk before. I think it was in my system when i bought it. It was one of those things that you buy from the "I build home recording systems" guy.
One day out of nowhere, the plug-in doesn't work anymore. It has been removed along with all the other cakewalk fx plug-ins. I don't know how or why. Does anybody know what program I need to buy to get this plug-in again? Or, is there anyway to get it off one of those free plug-in sites?

Try this http://store.yahoo.com/cakewalkdirect/cakaudfx2dow.html. Which version of Cakewalk are you using? Some versions come with it included in their bundle. Simply reinstall your licensed Cakewalk product.

there's probably a built in expiration date in the plugins, after the program itself has been romoved. the effects most likely just didn't like you using them with cubase. you can purchase them at the link punkin provided.
