I just made a switch! what do you think?

As some of you know I was running Pro Tools Digi 02 rack with Pro Tools LE v6.7 and I also had a copy of Cubase SE. I started to really like the cubase set-up so I decided to sell my 02 rack and I upgraded to Cubase SX3 and Im also getting a Mackie control-DAW controller.

Do you guys think that was a mistake?

Not in the least. But then it depends on what YOU feel comfortable working with.

Well Ive been working with Pro Tools for years, I just dont like some of the limitations of the LE version. I like Cubase alot better, I would like to get a Pro Tools TDM rig but for that kind of money

You know.. I been really leaning towards getting an MBOX with pro tools LE.. but the more I play with it at other people's studio the more I appreciate my Cubase SX... and I can do sooo much more I feel with Cubase than Pro Tools.. I dont know.. I think I'ma have to stick with Cubase... =0/

Yeah, I like Cubase better too, Im picking up my SX3 today! I talked GC into selling me the full blown version for the price of the upgrade from SE, I told the "come on Ive spent alot of money with you guys close to $20,000.00! I actually got my Mackie Control for $799.99 yesterday and my Digi 02 rack for $1,000 four months ago. I sold the 02 for $1050.00 and this discount on SX3 so Im ahead of the game.
