To record midi output from Groove Agent, How to?
I read even that it's impossible?
How is that? I use it primarily for sounds. I draw my own midi! I've used it so for about a year! But it seems that my tracks are a bit dull, and i want to spice them up with some fills ando so. I would like the midi output to be recorded not audio, so i can twist the eq knobs some more. So what's up with this? I thought i would draw the drums track as i saw them right and then recorded some fills straight form the GA, and just put them in the right place. Tell me more, please ![]() |

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for but,
For SX Set up a midi channel with midi chnl 10 and select GA as the output. Open GA from the e button. In GA click on the setup cover thing, and switch the midi out to the right. Go back to your tracks screen w/o closing GA (make sure you can see GA behind your tracks window). Change GA from output to input on your track. Arm it and monitor it. Flip back over to GA, and record. This is for controlling GA in 'real-time' as you record. If you were looking on how to record and export a midi file from GA, I don't know how yet... -mulch |
