Will Yamaha DTXpress Drumset Work as MIDI Drum Controller?
I want something to control a VSTi drum machine like LM4-MkII in Cubase and a keyboard MIDI controller isn't quite as intuitive for me as a real drum kit.
I've seen some of these sets relatively cheap used and although their boxes have MIDI I/O, there's no mention of using them in this way in the docs. I think it will work, but I'd sure feel stupid if I bought a set and it didn't. Can anyone help me out here? As always, thanks for any help and advice. |

I have the older drumset DTS DS-9 or 10 I forget. It works for me. I do it with logic audio.
