starfox is an unknown quantity at this point
not bad man. Not really my style, but ok writing, its gotta hook and good vocals. The bridge slows it down a little, keep it up

First off, good voice. Softer than I normally listen to, but good nonetheless. Good mix, nice and clear. Don't know what you are looking for in criticism, but I hear no big faults, and thought it was well done. Songwriting and performance seem just fine.

Just my opinion, but take it for what it's worth. I couldn't do better!!!

Very nice. I listened to it 3 times, and it improved with each listen. At first I thought the melody was too repetitious, but on 3rd thought there are enough changes to keep it interesting. Singer was OK but I still had trouble making out some of the lyrics. Are there 2 singers or is that an overdub? Also, curious about the instruments... I hear an acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and then there's a 4th instrument I think --- electric guitar, piano, or what? A piano might be cool in there (but would probably lower its chances for airplay). From a songwriting standpoint I'd give it a strong B or B+. Like Dogman, I couldn't do better. Performance-wise, also a B.

Thanks guys.

There are 2 vocal tracks of the same part with the same singer (doubled). In the bridge another person is whispering the words.

Originally, the tune had a piano part, but we are a guitar/bass/drum trio so none of us play piano. We felt it was full enough without it, with the drums/bass taking more space (possibly too much).

There is an acoustic guitar, and an electric, playing different voicings. The recording was done on the 4rth floor of an apartment, and we found it impossible to haul the Marshal stack all the wall up the stairs (guitarist had a hernia operation at the time....haha). So, we left the el. guitar 'clean' but effected with the N-tracks program instead. Next time around we definitely want to mic the stack instead of going direct, stairs or no stairs.

Thanks for the opinions.
