Pro Tools to Cubase Conversion

Can anyone tell me what is involved to convert audio recorded using a Mac and Protools to a Win XP Cubase SX 2.0.

Will protools record .wav? and can we just do it that way??? sorry for my ignorance.

If the files are aiff in Pro tools, you can just load the aiff files in Cubase
