I'm looking into broadcasting online. A site I'm familar with uses .m3u files where an hours worth of audio begins streaming immediately, even on dial up. Can anyone help me learn how to utilize this technology?

I'm a professional, traditional broadcaster and have been doing freelance voice work from my home studio for several years now. Just need to take it to the next step.

http://www.mp3machine.com/news/628/ google m3u and you can find different software that will take your files and turn them into m3us for live streaming. m3u on your computer is considered a playlist. m3u from one computer to another becomes a streaming port to the mp3 or audio file it orginates from...the link goes into more detail
