a voice booth and a small ref. console in rented House

Hi!
I found that the fourms here are really cool and I could ask a little help.
I am a pc based musician ( AMD Xp 2000-PC, Motu 828 mk2 and a radium 61, Rode Condenser microphone and M-Audio DX4 Monitors)
I am planning for a small Voice booth and a reference mix console in a 12L*12W*10H room. My budget is not more than $1500 Pls Help!!!

regards
Anil Johns

Probably the reason no one's answered yet is your post is too vague; do you want help PURCHASING the gear, or what? (I know that was a stretch, but you need to give more if you want to get more)

Things like, do you want to soundproof your room or just put stuff in it, do you care about acoustics at all or just want a place for a desk, do you want info on WHICH console does what (wrong forum for that though) -

If you can give more info, you'll probably get more action... Steve

Some of the folks that post here regularly have recommended making a booth with PVC pipes, draped with very heavy blankets. Then you'd still have room outside for your console without doing anything permanent to the room itself, and you could take it anywhere if you moved.
There is an excellent search feature near the top of the page - if you do a search on "vocal booth" you'll probably find some specifics.
