Does anyone use VST System Link/2 computers...

i was wondering if anyone using the System Link for Cubase sx? im very interested in this, but not understanding it fully. is the basic concept just hooking up two computers with ASIO sound cards? i read a bit about it in the manual but it seems really complicated, but i love the idea of having effects and vst instruments on one computer and cubase on another, it would make things much easier for me and what i use as far as vst's.

anyone use this?
