Surround (5.1) capabilities with Sonar 4/Aardvark Q10 ???

Hi all, I am about to indulge myself into the world of mixing/mastering in surround. I have a decent setup thus far (sonar 3, shure/akg/blue mics, alesis mkII monitors, great PC, etc) and I am planning to upgrade to sonar 4, and get a sub as well as L/R surround monitors.

My main question is, with Sonar 4, can I run 5.1 surround from my aardvark Q10? it has 8 individual outputs but I am not sure if they have to be digital (coaxial).

Also, does anyone know if dolby makes a VST/Direct X encoder??

Any help/advice is much appreciated!!
