vst problem

i am having a major problem with getting my cubasis to work with absyth 2. i have a keyboard as controller. and an usb audio interface to connect it to my computer. and absynth works perfectly as a standalone program. but i want to use absynth within cubasis. i have opened absynth within cubasis like this: audio->audio and midi mixer->insert-> absynth. so i can actually play the sounds on the integrated keyboard in absynth but it would not work with my external keyboard..........please help!

Did you add a blank Midi track for recording and point it's output to the vsti??

That should be in the help file...

thanx for the reply. i figured it out now. like you said, i had to define the midi output to the vst instrument. thanks again!!!
