midi/audio doesn't match

Hi

I recorded a click track with the session drummer.
Then I recorded and audio track.
The click track and audio track do not line up during play back. The timing is off.

What would I be doing wrong?

Thanks
Tom

record your midi track to audio. how far off are they? hopefully its a latency on playback problem that can be solved with a config change.

or

make a copy of the recorded track. now slide the copied track around until you get it to match timing with the midi track.

i typed the previous post on my Treo and got tired.

once you get the tracks to line up, then you should know what your latency is. how you improve your latency may just be a matter of soundcard or recording software configuration. but it might mean you need a new soundcard.
