Tama Fibrestar Snare
I have one. Acquired it for recording a local band's full length album. Anyone know what it's worth? The drummer of the band gave it to me and did NOT want to part with it but finally gave it up for the CD (he used it on the cd). I love this snare. It's simply unlike any other snare I have played. I can get any variety of sounds I want from it depending on what heads I use. I have tried Remo Coated Ambassador, Remo Coated Emperor, Aquarian Coated Batter, and Remo PowerDot. The best head I personally like on it is the Aquarian Coated. Great dynamics and overtones. The thing is really rare I suppose because he told me he hasnt found anyone else to have or use one, and he bought it from a personal owner in Canada. Aaaanndd.......I can't find shit on it. I'm not going to part with it by any means I just want to know how many of you (if any) have ever seen/heard this beast and how much you know it to be worth?
