Connecting Omni I/O out -> hardware mixer -> Omni I/O in
Hello all. I'm stuck. I'd appreciate a bit of help...
Here's my setup: Windows XP, M-Audio Delta 66 (driver 5.10.00) w/ Omni I/O breakout box, 2-channel (DJ) mixer. Here's what I want to do: use 2x instances of Winamp (different outputs in each case) and connect the 2x outputs on the Omni to the inputs on the mixer, tweak the input, and then send it back to an input in the Omni. Sounds simple enough, right? Here's my problem: the outputs on the Omni appear to be mono. I've read that they can be set to stereo, only I can't figure this out... My questions: i) Are the direct outputs mono only? ii) Can I have 2x Winamps to 2x stereo outputs on the Omni any other way? Cheers, thanks for reading. Pete PS: If this post is in the wrong forum (I think it's a newbie question), please let me know. |
