Boneham

[The Seifer]

I don't know anything about anything, but I know I want my drums to sound like Boneham. Please tell me how to do it, even though it is impossible.

get a ludwig with a 26" bass drum and set it up in a massive room and setup some ovber heads, a kick mic, and some condensors all around the room. move them around til you find the sweet spot.

oh and hit the drums like you want to put the stick right through the skin!

Actually, try putting the drums in a corridor and using two valve mics, one at each end, then bung the stereo mix through a compressor.
