Equipment needed for MIDI production?

I'm thinking of buying one of those new Mini-Mac deals that Apple has come out with recently. It's this modle right here:
Mini Mac
It comes with Garage Band on it, would I need additional production software?

I have a Yamaha PSR-175, with a MIDI out, could I use that as a controler?

Any other equipment I need? (I plan on using headphones)

Thanks for your input

What a cute toy!

As for your questions, it would help to know more about what you plan to use it for.

The answer could be yes to everything you asked but maybe not.
