Advice on delay unit ?
Ok I need a good sounding delay pedal that has the following:
The ability to save user patches A quick way to swap between different patches or bypass Good sound The ability to set delay times using BPM Any advise ? The Line6 delay unit sounds ok, reverts back to factory settings every time you click the delay off and on again. Nathan |

the line 6 dl-4 saves your individual settings.

Really ? Had a loan of one, couldn't figure out how to... guess I'd better RTFM...
It doesn't allow BPM based programming though, which I really could do with. Cheers, Nathan |

You hold down the footswitch for about 5 or 10 seconds and it saves it. As far as "BPM based programming," I'm not sure that any delay has that feature, but the DL-4 does have tap tempo, and if you have rhythm, you have your "BPM based programming."

Thanks for that. I'm gonna use that with the loaner for a couple of gigs. I'm looking at a rack-based unit that will sync up with a MIDI master device I think.
