i need a quick lesson in how to record from dat analogly via a WavePro 824 soundcard into cool edit pro...

to slightly edit (fill a blank silence and # and name songs) and burn a cd.

the dat recordings are live recordings of bands i have made with the bands's blessing and with a cardioid (sp) microphones. it sounds good.

is the above the correct configuration to slightly edit and burn a cd?
