My Solo Website - Ender

I would like to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Ender, solo artist from northern NY (so far northern I'm almost in Canada).

Like bands like U2 and Collective Soul, I try to write music that is hopeful and inspirational. I don't think enough people have heard it yet to be able to really tell me if it works, but I'm hoping someday that will change.

Over the past couple years I've recorded and released, via mp3.com, two albums and an EP. Granted, because of my home recording expertise (or lack thereof), my work sounds more like glorified demos. In essence, that's exactly what they are, as my intention is, if nothing else, to have something on file to go back to later on, and something to show people so that they can get an idea of the potential that exists in the music.

It would be rediculous of me to sit here and tell you all that I think this music has it, that I think if the right person were to hear this it would take off. Every musician thinks that about his or her music. I truly deeply believe in mine, and I guess the only thing I can say is that I wouldn't waste any of my fellow artists' time with rubbish.

Aside from Collective Soul and U2, my other big inspirations are the Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Spacehog, Stabbing Westward, INXS, No Doubt, Bjork, and Beck.

Right now, I'm certainly more in this to have people hear my work, and to criticize, comment, or just drop me a note, about it, than I am worrying about what money I'm receiving from it.

If any of you are so inclined, please check out www.enderhq.com - which is my interim blog site until the new one comes up sometime in March or April. I'm currently wrapping up my third album, and I hope to have that out soon.

I can also be reached at ender@enderhq.com or AIM name Lemonymous if anyone wants to get in touch with me. I love to chat about anything, so don't hesitate.

If you've come this far down my post, I just want to say thank you for giving it this much of a chance. I know you all probably hear this stuff over and over again from others trying to "make it big". It's so annoying that anything that can be done on the internet HAS been done.

Anyway, thanks a lot all, and please, if you have anything you'd like others to see or hear, I'm right there with ya!

Oh oh and plus, if anyone wants to talk music engineering, I'm still learning. You'll be able to see some evolution in my mixes if you go check them out. I suggest "Eleven-Three", "Consequences", "Settle Down", and "Julia".

Take Care,
Ender

I forgot to add www.enderhq.com/secret1/vampiremaster.mp3 - "Vampire" which is something i'm working on for an album further down the road. It's also what I'm currently using as a test on my recording and mixing capabilities.

Thanks,
Ender
