Hard Case for 488 mkII (???)
Does anyone know of any type of hard case in which the 488 mkII fits?

A friend and I both have a 424 and we both use a hard thrift store suitcase to transport it around. He wrapps his up in a blanket inside. I got a little more nerdy and went to JoAnn's fabrics and bought a few feet of 1" and 2" thick foam, and cut it up for a perfect custom fit. I bet I could drop the thing 20 feet and it would be fine. My total cost was probably about $15.

I have a 424 and saw a turntable case at musicians friend that looked like it would fit in. Would have to check dimensions. The case was only $39.00

There may be mixer cases that it would fit in.
My case (bought 10 yrs ago) was manufactured by USA Case, Bessemer Michigan. |
