Studiophile BX8s v. HR624s.

I *really* just want to binge and buy the HR824s, but I don't think it's happening. So I'm going for the next best thing...

Should I get the Mackie HR624s or the M-Audio Studiophile BX8s?

This is going to be primarily for Hip-Hop and Drum'n'Bass production.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Unless you're planning on adding a sub with the 624s I'd stay away from them. The 624 are known to be bass lacking and I figure that would be a concern for you since you are doing Hip-Hop and Drum'n'Bass.

Probably the best thing to do is to take a CD of songs you know and bring them to the store so you can audition them for yourself.
