Another M-300 Series Question
First, I would like to congradulate Goerik for the amazing find on His M-312, and more amazing the deal!!
Now for the Question regarding my 312. I like to route the Direct Outs to an external effects device and return to Returns 1 and 2. During a Mix, are the effects returns applying my FX to the recorded, bounced track? I can hear them when I turn up the Return level Pot(s). I tried to give her a listen afterwards, but couldn't really discern whether or not they're on there... Maybe I'n Deaf, but not Dumb (yet)... thanks for your time and input Skelly |

Are you trying to record the effects of your effects processor back onto the multi track tape recorder or just to the stereo outs of the board to a different mastering recorder?
If you want to print effects, you must return your effects processor/s to standard input channels where they can be assigned to the destination track of your choice. Otherwise, if you use the effects returns inputs, that path only flows to the main stereo faders for mixdown to a two track recorder. Capeash? Cheers! ![]() |
