What you mean the "classic" GreenDay guitar? The one with BJ etched into it?

K. That isn't even a real Fender. Its a cheap knockoff with more than likely cheap knock off pickups.

So to answer your question...the cheapest shit you can find.

The Seifer is infamous around these parts
ACTUALLY

he has a seymore duncun JEFF BECK pickup in that guitar. This is what you hear on dookie, insomniac, and nimrod. now he only uses P-90's. you can hear the shitty P-90 sound pretty clearly on warning and american shitface or whatever the last one was called.

the guys so rich, he would not have a crappy guitar. he has alot of differnt guitars that look the same. they are just not fenders, theyre made of warmoth parts, ot some company like that.

The original was indeed, a crappy Fernandez that he put a Seymour Duncan pickup into.

He replaced it with a copy when it got too beat up to use.

I can't say enough good things about that JB pickup.
I put that and a stacked SD humbucker in a crappy Epiphone and now all play that sucker all the time.

actually, that shitty sound is a p-100. He seems pretty jazzed about these bastard pickups from gibson for some reason judging from his interviews. I think p-90's sound great, p-100's do not.
