Dimarzio Pickups
Quick question: My friend just got a used rg with a dimarzio in there, so when we were changing the strings we decided to take the pickup out to see what model it was, and all it says on it is dimarzio made in the usa. How do you figure out what model a dimarzio pickup is, they all look the same and it doesnt have anything else on there!

Most of them will have a stamp on the bottom of the backplate that has the model number, for example DP-100 is the Super Distortion. Other than that, you can visit their website for description of their older pickups.
