Behringer 802a question

Hi there. I have just bought one of these on E-bay. I am connecting to a M-Audi 2496 soundcard and want to record vocals using a Studio project B1 mic and an external compressor. Any thoughts on how to route the mic signal through the compressor given that there are no insert jacks?

Yeah, what rumble said. Run from the line outs into your compressor, then from the compressor outs to your soundcard. Or, you could run and effects loop and just send all of the signal through the loop.

One more question

After I purchased this mizer, I have started to read that you cannot monitor vocals separately during recording. Has anyone found a fix for this?
