Lady needs HELP! Tascam 488 cassette
Hi there!
can anyone give me an idiot proof way to dump my tracks in to pro-tools.i have a tascam 488 (not mkII) i can't figure it out. PLEEEEEASE! thank you thank you. annmarie |

cable?
you can go to radio shack or the like,
and buy a stereo RCA cable with a 1/8" mini jack (plugs into your sound card LINE IN..) PRO TOOLS should be setup to pull from that input. sorry if that isn't what your looking for. |

Unless you have a soundcard with 8 Line Ins...
you'll essentially be performing a mixdown to ProTools. You can put your mix on two tracks on the PC and go from there.
I suppose you can transfer two tracks at a time from the TASCAM panned hard L/R, but getting alternate transfers to match up once they're in could be trouble.
