Midistudio 688 (into or out of) Adobe Audition?
I'm going in this Sunday to record a live drummer into my Tascam Midistudio 688 8-track Cassette recorder with the intentions of dumping the tracks one by one into my PC running Adobe Audition (2 input SB LIVE 24 bit card).
I've never tracked live drums before but I will know how to get them into Audition, LFT 1, RT 2, etc... I guess my only question would be is there a way to snyc my 688 to my computer and transfer the data. Wait... let me back up, is their a way that my 688 can interact with my PC at all? Midi, time sync, controller? Here we go... JGSTAR |

You have 8 outputs on a 688 and if you have 8 inputs on your PC thats about as compatible that the two are going to get. Real time track by track.

Thanks... That's what I thought.
I was thinking there might be some way to use the midi connections to sync with the PC... worlds apart i'm sure. Thanks JG |
