can anyone think of a band name for me and my buddies? we play mostly hendrix and stevie covers... any suggestions?

You could use a hit song title by one of the artists...what about "Texas Flood"...or "Purple Haze"?...don't know if there are any copyright issues involved but you could probably get away with it (as long as you didn't get too famous)

If you are good enough, you can submit a demo to their management and get permission to be legally recognized as a tribute band. Then any name you pick will be legal. And it also entitles you to use their trademarked logos (you'd have to get that in writing...)

a good place to find cool names is on horseracing forms. There are some pretty cool names dem horses get. I ain't kiddin.

Remember when MP3.com used to have that random band name generator? I always liked the ones it came up with for punk bands. My favorites were "Bamboo Crap Vacuum" and "The Vomit Pimples"
