Melodyne Software

I've heard this blows Autotune out of the water. I've seen the demo and it looks pretty amazing. Has anybody used it in conjuction with Pro-tools or otherwise. Does it live up to its claims?

Exclamation

The software hasn't been released yet. But if your going to be at the seminar I'm going to be at on Saturday you can hear it for yourself. I was told that it would blow the other vocal auto tune products away and you will be able to use it so you can use your voice as a midi controler! I was also told that it will record your voice line to a staff line. Sounds pretty incredibletoo me.

Melodyne software has BEEN out.
Version 2.6 just dropped not too long ago.
You don't need to go to a seminar to hear it, just click here:
http://www.celemony.com
Watch the movie, download the demo, do the tutorial, and have fun.
That's what I did, and I bought it 1 month later. If it looks too pricey, there's supposed to be a 1-track version coming out, but not as yet.

I can't compare it to autotune (never used it), but I can say that it works like a charm. I don't even fuck with it for autotune-ish purposes, though.
Version 2.6 brought some additional sensitivity to the detection side of things - right on time.

As for working with other software via Rewire or the Melodyne Bridge - bet that up. It works...

I've been using Melodyne for a couple of years now. It's a great app. And, yes, it blows Autotune out of the water.
