Signal through multicable...
Hello!
I learned from you guys that you sould not run a powerd signal through a multicable, but what about running a powerd headphone signal through a standard multicable? Or should I invest in a headphone preamp and put it in the end of the multicable? Thanks for answers! |

The most scientifically-backed opinion on this matter I've heard is that running headphones off a snake is fine. The power level and impedances are such that it shouldn't normally be more than the cabling can handle and shouldn't crosstalk.
I've also heard the opposite: horror stories of crosstalk and distortion when running headphones through a snake. I know it works fine for me, no problems. |
