Behringer and Phonic Power Mixers
Can anybody give me their experiences with either or both the Behringer and Phonic PowerPod lines of powered mixers?

Hi Lar
I have a Phonic Powerpod 620 and I love the sound quality and the features . You have 2 band eq on each channel plus a Super hi Z jack input for guitars save uising a DI box plus a separate 7 band eq, the reverbs and delays are also very smooth i have found. I got mine for £139.00 in London UK. For the price its a good bang for the buck. I have friends who diifer in opinon and say its the lowest of the low in mixers but I am pleased with mine. I have'nt treid a behringer powered mixer but I hear they have a good clean sound. Dave |

I have a Behringer PMH880S powered head, and have been gigging with it for a couple of years. No problems at all, even though it once fell of the stand it was on (pulled on the wrong cable - yikes!), and rolled across the stage! No damage, either cosmetic or internal. It does what the mfg. claims it will, and at a better price than the competition. I wish it put out more power, as it generates only 200 watts/channel into 8 ohms, but that's what it was designed to do, so it's no reflection on the unit itself.
