Tight dense harmony vocals
In my quest for
Tight dense harmony vocals, I'm looking to make them omnipresent, unobtrusive, safely out of the way of the lead. Our songs have 15-20 vocal tracks each. (Rock) not like Def Leppard Like Destiny's Child meets the Beach Boys meets Green Day at an Eagles reahearsal. I assume I'll send them to their own bus, and treat them the same, but what gives that =tight= sound? My assumption/theory= compression, bright EQ, panning L/R but not too far.? thanks ![]()

Wow excellent article.
What a coincidence! This album I heard at my parents over the holidays, and it made me look closer at our vocals and how I was mixing them.

Another source of info that states the need for an external clock source regardless of the converters being used. Hmmmmmm, one of these days.
