Young Love. 2 ways.

Hmm. I recorded a song called Young Love 2 years ago...

I tried to record a chill out version of it today - note. I am not a keyboard player, this is my self-taught playing, so excuse the shitness.

So I was thinking? Is this working? Should I carry on? Add a guitar? General ideas plase

Just my 2 cents, but not bad at all. The only thing I would change would be some of the mixing. The guitar in the left speaker was over powering, and the one in the right was just there. You know what I am trying to say? I liked what I heard, even though it's not a genre I am all too familiar with.

I thought I was commenting on both, I'm sorry. I should have been more clear. I liked the other version (the original) much better, it just needed some more time getting the mix right.
If I was going to record it with the chilled out piano, I'd slow the meter of the vocal down to emphasize the emotion.
Is that what you were looking for?
I like your work either way!
Nice song!
