Hi everybody
I'm currently putting together a studio, and having some trouble choosing a mic. I record rap, and i'm looking for a mic that will give me a nice crystal clear warm tone, and will sound good with a high voice and a deeper voice also. I have around 500 dollars to spend, and have been looking at the blue baby bottle and the rode ntk. anybody who has used these please tell me if they would be good for what i'm doing, I will be running the mic in to a focusrite voice master pro. Thanks in advance |

my best suggestion is to go to a music superstore of sorts, and get a sales manager to let you audition these mics, on the different voices you have in mind, and see what sounds best to you...words are words, but the pudding is in the test.
