Alesis ProActive 5.1 Opinions???

I'm looking into getting a decent 5.1 surround system, and am curious as to what you all think of the Alesis ProActive 5.1 surround system. I will mostly use it for multimedia playback, and occassionally maybe due some surround mixing for video. I just want a system that sounds good, will shake the room a bit, and won't break the bank. To me the Alesis ProActive 5.1 sounds ideal. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ThanX!!!

M-Audio Studiophile LX4 5.1

Hi,

I saw this Alesis rig on some website, personnaly I never tryed it.
I have an M-Audio Studiophile LX4 5.1

http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_u...stem-main.html

I'm pretty satisfied so far. I guess it's not "flat" but I think it does the job well for what I've paid (around 600$)
The inputs are 6 x 1/4, I know it's better that 1/8 but it's pretty anoying to plug them jacks into a Y splitters...
