need help with Roland SP-808 groovesampler!

okay. i need to know how to create a looping song on the Roland SP-808 groovesampler that can be affected by realtime effects and simultaneously be playing a sample out of one of the pads over that song WITHOUT the sample being affected by the realtime effects i'm using on the song. basically i need to know how to isolate the two sounds so the realtime effects i'm using on one doesn't affect the other. is this possible??

if anyone knows ANYTHING about the roland sp-808 groovesampler and could help me out at all, that would be amazing. thanks dudes!
