Arpeggiators

Question. Im looking for a way to use VSTi's within a host, but the thing is, I want to be able to play multiple arpeggiated patterns with multiple VSTi's and have those arpeggios lock to the tempo of the project file. Im not sure this is too possible because when you hit a key on a midi controller, the midi file that's made by the host is merely a midi file and only contains the data of me pushing that key and holding it. It does not contain the data that makes that note arpeggiate, the VSTi does that. To the best of my knowledge, Reason will do this, but also to the best of my knowledge, you can't load up any ol' VSTi within Reason.

Is the answer to my query within what host application Im using, or in the VSTi? Im hoping there's a better way to do this than having to manually set the arpeggio speed......thanks

Disregard. I figured it out.

If anyone's curious of the answer, it lies within the VSTi itself. Most of them (that I've tried since the last post) have tempo locks of some kind, that will snap the patterns to your project tempo.
