Unhappy Midi recording mixdown question.......

Ok so here's what's up....I am using Cubase sx3 and I plug in my Pintech electronic drums to a midi device and i am using the drum key editor to do the drums for me(i cant only play guitar.....so i do this for drums)........I looked and looked in my manual and could not find out how to do this but...........how do i mix down the midi so that it is listenable in a stereo/cdplayer??i need to make the midi audio and then i will import it back as an audio file and then work with that.......any help/advice would be awsome!! Thanks alot!!

I am not a cubase user, but I can tell you the basics in midi recording though. After you print a midi track in cubase, run that track from a synth or drum machine and record a stereo audio track (like your voice tracks) After your audio track is printed, select all the audio tracks you want to be mixed and bounce them all together.
Hope it gives you a general idea to figure out where you are going wrong.

The secret is found under the 'file' menu and the 'export' function.

First, mute all the tracks except the drums. Then use the 'export as audio' function. Then use the 'import audio' function to bring the results back as a stereo audio track.

premonition is on a distinguished road
Make sure your output goes into your computer and not a PA as a midi cable dosnt transfer audio. Then do as above using the export function.
