i have cool Edit pro and have just upgraded to Adobe audition and i am recoding vocals and want them to sound the same ( some parts are lower than others ) is there any plug-in to use to get them to the same level, (when i look at the vocals the peek levels stand out 2 much on play back?

Using compression or Limiting can help smooth out the Peaks in a vocal performance. If its your first time using comp/limiting dig around and read some info. If you understand what each thing does on the compressor, it will be alot easier to use.
