GPO and Digital Piano

Hello everyone - this is my first post. Great site. I am planning to buy the Garritan personal orchestra to play killer string sounds. I have a Kawai CA-series digital piano which doesn't have a mod wheel. Is there hope for me other than using the mod wheel in kontakt or my sequencing software? Are there stand alone mod wheels to connect to a digital piano? Thanks.

Yamaha made one twenty years ago that I saw once and not again.

My recommendation would be a midi controller unit - I use a Peavey 1600x - that can not only send modulation but the whole range of midi cc's from programable faders.

Alternatively you could buy a small controller keyboard like this which not only has pitch bend and mod wheels but 8 cc knobs besides. You wouldn't necessarily be limited to playing the GPO sounds from the controller board -- every sequencing program has some kind of overdub/merge mode that would allow you to overdub mod wheel movements.
