Headphone Amp Help.
I am getting ready to record a band so I purchased a Samson headphone amp for everyone to be connected. My issue is that headphone subout from my ZOOM recorder (which will be going to the headphone amp) is a single 1/4" output and the back of the Samson is two 1/4" L and R channels. I tried splitting my 1/4" output with two RCA's into the Amp but I have a huge loss of signal. Any suggestions.

is your zoom a TRS out? if so, you need an insert Y cable

Thanks for your reply, that's what I thought but I needed a quick fix and they didn't have the 1/4" Y at radio shack and sold me a Y cord that went 1/4" down to radio jacks and 2 radio to 1/4" adapters and said it would work the same. However, I lost major signal in that rig-job. I had to order the 1/4" Y online and postpone my session.
