how is the ensoniq sqr.plus?module

saw one for sale,i into old hot modules cause old is always in,anyone?thanks

Always Liked them...

I always thought they were pretty decent for the price...
It falls in above the K1 at better sounds... It has more realistic sampled wave sounds... Not as good sounding (IMHO) as say a Roland JV880... I think Roland took a little more time with their unit's samples...

I would add one to my rack as well if it were say: 100.00 to 150.00 max...
But 150 is if it's in great shape AND You want THIS UNIT - BAD...

There are definitely better vintage modules out there... But for the price and the capability it would be a reasonable addition...

I think it's dual oscillator technology but has no "Q" filter...
(If you're into the programming...)

thanks,.iam a preset man,. only if a unit has real time,.knobs etc will i do any programming of sounds,.i heard of the jv880,i have a 1080,.thanks for the info,.
