If you mean like rip an audio cd to mp3 try using something like Nero to save the tracks directly to the mp3 format on your computer.

Put your CD into your PC but do not play it.
Just open folder with your audio tracks.

Open each and every track in Cool Edit and save it to one of your folder.
You open track this way.
Mark it, then right click and open with: (choose program) Cool edit.
The track will open in CEP edit window and probably start to play.
Stop playing and save it as "track name" mp3.
There are a lot of different save options in Cool Edit.
You choose mp3.

I don't know if you can do all track simultaneously. I don't think so!
If you find it out please share with us.

You can do it with AUDIOGRABBER too but I prefer Adobe Audition or
Cool Edit because I use to edit track before saving.
I adjust output signal to be same for tracks from different CD to avoid surprises when I burn a new CD with tracks
from different albums. I listen to the music in my car and don’t like to splash when I drive.

Google the name "CDex".

It a great little program to encode to mp3/wav from CD.
