Kick mic........ what is it??

Ok, so it's the holiday season and I was looking around on Ebay and saw this mic. It was going cheap so I thought I would take a stab and try it out. The only problem is that it doesn't have any information on it besides "dynamic mic 250 ohms". Check out the pic below. The guy also said that it was a Bayer mic. To begin with, I have never heard of Bayer, but believe he means Beyer. This is where the problem is, it is next to impossible to find any info on Beyer mics that aren't in production anymore, even more so on ones that aren't ribbons. Does anyone know anymore about this mic? I should receive it in a few days, hopefully it was worth the change I spent on it

Any info would be great.

Craig

I have seen those before...used in live sound situations for toms and such. Definitely not a Beyer. I don't know exactly what it is, but it seems to me it's like a Nady or something of similar quality. If you're using this for live sound and need some tom mics...maybe. If you're wanting it for studio and kick...no.

I agree, it does kinda look like an AT product but after going through some info, it doesn't appear to be anything of theirs. I was kinda hoping that the different mount on the mic would be a give away to what it is but I guess not.
